Only inventions of a technical nature are eligible for patent protection. An invention can be a product, a manufacturing process or a technique. Discoveries, scientific theories, mathematical methods and designs are not patentable.

We have a recent desire for industrial development, so we have filed two patents concerning the use of bismuth subsalicylate or one of its derivatives as a phytopharmaceutical agent. The project is supported by the SATT/Connectus Alsace with the creation of a start-up (SEMIA).
