Under the leadership of Dr. Laure VALAT, the LVBE (Laboratory for Vine, Biotechnology, and Environment) was pleased to organize a half-day celebration at its premises on Friday, October 3, 2025, to mark the 50th anniversary of the UHA a festive half-day event to discover the Biopôle campus
and learn about the training and research activities offered in the fields of agronomy, agri-food, and biotechnology.

Screening of the film “La théorie du Boxeur” (The Boxer’s Theory), from the Alimenterre festival

Director Nathanaël Coste spent three years conducting research among organic and conventional farmers in the Drôme Valley to understand how they are coping with the challenges of climate change. In his film, he invites us to reflect together on adapting our agricultural and food practices, sharing water, preserving soil and biodiversity, and more.
discovery of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Biological Engineering course at the IUT in Colmar,
meetings with members of the LVBE, discussions with teacher-researchers and students, workshops, a tour of the school orchard by Alexandre FRITSCH, and activities…
The event was open to Biopôle stakeholders and high school students upon registration, and around 80 high school students and teachers took part!
This day was a wonderful showcase for the dynamism of the Biopôle in both research and teaching, and won over a wide range of audiences!
