University partners:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

RIBP- Resistance Induction and Bioprotection of Plants<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Resistance Induction and Bioproduction of Plants Laboratory<\/a> is focused on the understanding of plant innate immunity. Using various research approaches (molecular, physiological and biochemical), they study, how, when and where plant defence are raised following biotic or abiotic stresses and how efficient they are. They then translate this fundamental approach into strategies of plant defence stimulation based on biocontrol agents such as elicitors (axis 1) and beneficial bacteria (axis 2). They also investigate whether these strategies might affect plant physiology and carbon metabolism, the energy source for yield and plant defence, which are strongly affected by environmental stresses and global warming (axis 3).<\/p>\n

In February 2026, the University of Haute-Alsace decided to support a new collaboration between the RIBP and the LVBE by participating in the financing of the Vitibiodiv-GE project.<\/p>\n

LSE- the Soil and Environment Laboratory\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The scientific strategy of LSE<\/a> aims to answer the issues raised by the\u00a0major anthropogenic pressures on soils<\/strong>, leading to their increasing\u00a0artificialization<\/strong>. From February 2026, LVBE will be collaborating with LSE on the Vitibiodiv-GE project.<\/p>\n

IRIMAS-<\/strong> The Research Institute<\/strong> in Computer Sciences<\/strong>, Mathematics<\/strong>, Automation and Signal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Research Institute<\/strong> in Computer Sciences<\/strong>, Mathematics<\/strong>, Automation and Signal<\/strong> <\/a>(IRIMAS) is a University of Haute-Alsace research team (EA 7499). This interdisciplinary institute gathers all the research work related to the disciplines of mathematics, computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, automation and signal and image processing at the University of Haute-Alsace.<\/p>\n

\"ESCALIBURIn 2019, the University of Haute-Alsace has chosen to support a new collaboration between IRIMAS and LVBE by funding the Escalibur and Petricolor projects, co-led by J. B. Courbot and Romain Pierron<\/a>.<\/p>\n

LIMA – Laboratory of Molecular Innovation and Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Laboratory of Molecular Innovation and Applications<\/a> (LIMA, formerly COB), a bi-site and tri-tutorship laboratory (Unistra\/UHA\/CNRS), Since January 2018, this new laboratory contributes to a better structuring of molecular chemistry supported by the two chemical engineering schools (EPCM and ENSCMu) for better readability and visibility.<\/p>\n

LERMAB – Laboratory of Studies and Research on Wood Material<\/h3>\n

The LERMAB<\/a> is a multidisciplinary laboratory of the Lorraine University (EA 4370) attached to the Nancy-Lorraine INRAe center as a Unit Under Contract. It is located on two main sites, in Vand\u0153uvre as part of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and in \u00c9pinal as part of the \u201c\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Technologies et Industries du Bois\u201d (ENSTIB), as well as on a more occasional basis in Longwy with a department at the IUT.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Partners selected for the Vitibiodiv-GE project:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"On February 16, 2026, the kick-off meeting for the Vitibiodiv-GE project was held: Beneficial microbial communities in the vineyards of the Grand Est region:<\/strong> inventory of beneficial populations in different terroirs and reintroduction to improve tolerance to decline.<\/p>\n

This 3.5-year project<\/strong> is funded by the European Union (FEDER)<\/a>, the Grand Est Region<\/a>, and the University of Haute Alsace<\/a>. The LVBE and RIBP laboratories are co-leaders of the project.<\/p>\n

Its objective is to characterize and reintroduce rhizospheric microorganisms endemic to the vineyards of the Grand Est region in order to improve vine performance in the context of climate change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– the Vine, Biotechnology, and Environment Laboratory<\/a> at the University of Haute Alsace,
\n– the Induced Resistance and Plant Bioprotection Laboratory<\/a> at the University of Reims-Champagne-Ardennes,
\n– the Soil and Environment Laboratory<\/a> at the University of Lorraine,<\/p>\n

and 6 professional partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– the French Institute of Vine and Wine<\/a>,
\n– the Champagne Committee,<\/a>
\n– the Interprofessional Council of Alsace Wines,<\/a>
\n– the Robert-Jean de Vog\u00fc\u00e9 Research Center,<\/a>
\n– Maison Arthur Metz<\/a>, and
\n– Vinop\u00f4le Alsace<\/a>.<\/p>\n
