This platform is an <strong>innovative experimentation tool<\/strong> for the <strong>scientific and agricultural communities<\/strong>, offering <strong>support for scientific collaborations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\">\n<div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span><strong>Plant production and cultivation<\/strong><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>The platform&#8217;s culture chambers recreate <strong>optimal plant growth conditions in a level 2 containment environment.<\/strong> This makes it possible to <strong>study the response of plants to variations in climatic factors<\/strong>, or their <strong>response to phytopathological organisms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Production and cultivation will be adapted to your needs and expectations: <\/strong>substrates, watering, environmental conditions, etc<strong>. As cultivation conditions are finely controlled, the chambers are highly reproducible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Associated equipment: <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Three independent <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.froids-et-mesures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cold and Measurement<\/a><strong> culture chambers <\/strong>with a total usable surface area of approximately 20m2.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two chambers offer a surface area of 5m2 each, spread over 4 tables.<\/li>\n<li>The third has a usable surface area of 10m2 spread over two floors and 8 culture tables<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Technical data: <\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The air temperature <\/strong>can be set between 18 and 30\u00b0C. The temperature is uniform throughout the entire volume of the culture chamber, with a precision of less than 1\u00b0C, whether or not the culture is illuminated. It can also be modulated according to programmed time slots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The relative humidity of the air <\/strong>can be set at a value between 40 and 90 % with a precision of less than 5% RH.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Illumination <\/strong>of the chambers is provided by spotlights or LED track lighting, whose spectrum approximates sunlight, thus promoting photosynthetic processes. Relative comparisons of certain <strong>photosynthetic parameters<\/strong> can therefore <strong>reveal <\/strong>different types of<strong> biotic or abiotic stress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These processes are evaluated using a device that measures the flow of water and carbon dioxide between plants and the atmosphere at leaf level, using infrared gas analysers. It also enables independent or simultaneous measurements of chlorophyll fluorescence.<\/p>\n<h5>Associated equipment: LI-6800 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.licor.com\/env\/products\/photosynthesis\/LI-6800\/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7cy3476YgQMVgJRoCR0RAQZkEAAYASAAEgIGSvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LICOR Biosciences<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear-top Chamber, maximum leaf surface: 9cm2 combined or not with a light source,<\/li>\n<li>Large Leaf and Needle Chamber, maximum leaf area: 36 cm2 with or without light source,<\/li>\n<li>Multiphase Flash Fluorometer, leaf area: 2 or 6 cm2,<\/li>\n<li>Portable system: harness and tripod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Technical data:<\/h5>\n<p>All environmental parameters can be set for measurement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Measurement <strong>chamber humidity<\/strong> can be set from 0 to 90%,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chamber temperature<\/strong> can be set within 10\u00b0C of ambient temperature,<\/li>\n<li><strong>CO2 concentration<\/strong> can be varied from 0 to 2000ppm (air concentration is around 400 ppm),<\/li>\n<li><strong>Actinic light<\/strong> (wavelength range 400-700 nm for photosynthesis), measured in \u00b5mol of photons per m2 per second, from each source can reach a value of 2000 \u00b5mol.m-2.s-1, equivalent to the amount of light received by a plant in full sunlight. The light spectrum of the sources can also be modified to modulate the intensity of the blue or red color, which are essential components in photosynthetic processes. Depending on the molecules to be assayed and the samples to be studied, preparation prior to the assay is carried out using freeze-drying or extraction techniques (solid-liquid, liquid-liquid, SPE, etc.). <strong>A wide range of metabolites<\/strong> such as organic acids, pesticides, hormones, etc. <strong>can thus be assayed<\/strong>.
