As viticulture and the environment are inextricably linked, the<strong> LVBE<\/strong> and the \u201cBiological Soil Decontamination\u201d team (<strong>EDBS<\/strong>) <strong>joined forces in 2009<\/strong> to create an entity to study the soil\/vine relationship. <strong>The LVBE was then organised into three teams:<\/strong> the \u201c<b>Cryptogamic Diseases and Vines<\/b>\u201d team (MCV), which focuses on wood diseases, the \u201c<b>Vine Defences Stimulation<\/b>\u201d team (SDV) (formerly \u201cPathogen-derived Resistance\u201d) and the \u201c<b>Biological Soil Decontamination<\/b>\u201d team (DBS) specialising in bio- and phytoremediation.<br \/>\n<b>In 2015<\/b>, the laboratory has <strong>concentrated<\/strong> all of its <strong>efforts<\/strong> on a single theme: <strong>the <\/strong><strong>fight against Grapevine Trunk Diseases.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In 2019<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, the enological and applied chemistry laboratory (<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">LOCA<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">) at the University of <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Reims Champagne-Ardenne joined the LVBE<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, bringing the\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">enology theme into the unit<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> in order to develop an <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">overall picture from vine to wine<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-box su-box-style-default\" id=\"\" style=\"border-color:#000000;border-radius:3px;max-width:none\"><div class=\"su-box-title\" style=\"background-color:#333333;color:#FFFFFF;border-top-left-radius:1px;border-top-right-radius:1px\">Discover<\/div><div class=\"su-box-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"border-bottom-left-radius:1px;border-bottom-right-radius:1px\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvbe.uha.fr\/en\/lvbe-2\/organization\/\">Organization<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvbe.uha.fr\/en\/lvbe-2\/location\/\">Location<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvbe.uha.fr\/en\/platform\/\">Platform<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The grapeVine Biotechnologies and Environment Laboratory History The Biology Laboratory at the University of Haute-Alsace was founded in 1996 to focus on the theme of enological yeasts.
